Perfect Birthday

As I am on my way to work on a very busy morning listening to the soothing melody of Micheal Buble. I am thinking of the next busy month ahead writing down the daily to do list and yes Spring racing carnival, workshops an exciting and full month ahead .... I stop and ponder.... This year has flown by and what a magic year we have had we are blessed. It is October already and only a few weeks away is my birthday and I close my eyes I cant believe its here once again. This time last year I would not think that we would be where we are today. I want something so simple this year, Something priceless, something far more valuable than money could buy. It is Quality time with the ones I truly love & this would be the perfect day to spend my birthday.

Wake up next to my husband
the first thing I see is his face, his
warm smile looking back at me

Followed by relaxing in the sun
letting it warm me up down into my core

Eating Cake and or eating my Mums famous lemon cheesecake
Everybody knows my mum makes the best cheesecake in the world

Followed by a home cooked dinner with my family,
every member of my family present at the table even Lucy, buster & Marley the families dogs





lots & lots of love & laughter
until my cheeks and tummy muscles hurt

Finished off with plenty of Snuggles and laughter with my Benny John Holder

My shade for the week will be Malaga wine an OPI favorate as it was the shade I wore on my nails on our wedding day. It always brings back the beautiful memories and I feel lots of love wearing this shade.

Crimped Wave Hair

The Crimped waved Locks
Many designers including Diane Von Furstenberg, Vivienne Tam, Mulberry and Catherine Malandrino sent crimped hair down the runway, it seems as if they may have been using Daryl Hannah's iconic mermaid as their muse. This time around, you need not bother with a follicle damaging iron. The new, less dramatic crimp is best done with a triple barrel prong crimper or by sleeping with your hair a braids or plaits. Very simple and effortless just make sure you brush through after and hairspray in place. Its so easy I love this style it teams up well with the boho inspired look.

leopard love

Animal prints are always in style, and leopard print is classy and sassy without being trashy. Well, OK, sometimes it's a little bit trashy, but in the most fabulous and fashionable way possible. It has to worn right with confidence and balanced out in all the right ways. The dress in these images is a sass & bide dress. Sarah and Heidi always do animal prints, embellishment and tribal fabulous evrytime. Attention to detail and hand crafted to perfection.
Instead of a dominant print when wearing your LBD (little black dress) slip on a high pair of leopard print heels and red lip stick and be confident.

Future warrior

Military fashion may have been big for some time now... but guess what? It's evolving. Ancient warlords and kings have stormed the imagination of the fashion world, and elements of military history have been reinterpreted with a modern - often futuristic - twist. A little wilder, a little more fierce, the new military brings ancient civilisations and their warriors to life for this 2010 fashion trend. This fierce, sexy, powerful look is the next evolution of the military/tribal trend. Essentially it’s a mish mash of tribal elements and military detailing flash-forwarded to a futuristic age. It’s without question one of my top 10 trends to grace the runways this season. Because it's new it's fun it's different and it See's boundaries being stretched and pushed. It's Individual,Innovating.The designers and the creative directors should be proud. The Innovators of today !! Balmain, Sass & Bide and Balenciaga are just some of the labels to embrace Future Warrior. Versace’s take on the trend was much more romantic, contrasting harsh metallic breast-plate inspired detailing on the busts of dresses, with soft, flowing pastel fabrics.

Goodbye GC

Goodbye Gold coast & hello Melbourne !
This Image was taken from our bedroom window. We fell asleep over looking the canal's of Mermaid waters and the lights of Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise. I will most definitely miss this place in our bedroom. Not to mention our House mates Cameron & Brad And our beautiful Friends who were our family on the Gold Coast. Love to you all.
